How did creating a practice spread help me?

 How did creating a practice spread benefit me? 

In my class we’ve learned all the tools in studio works so far and rules of it so my teacher gave us an assignment where we would make a practice spread. While making this practice spread, we had the ability to play around with rearranging the layout of the spread and inputting the pictures into the place holders making sure that they fit and how to adjust them. It also allowed me to understand how I can group certain pictures into secondary coverage to make the spread look more appealing to the viewer. Making the spread showed me how the headline should make a verbal/visual connection with the dominant photo in the spread.

How Did the Lessons on Depth of Field and Photography Techniques Prepare Me to Take Pictures for My Magazine?

  What was the impact from the lessons on depth of field on the preparation for my magazine? The lesson my teacher gave on the topics of depth of field and photography techniques helped me in many ways to get ready for the photos needed in my magazine. First, we learned what depth of field meant, depth of field is the distance between the nearest and furthest objects that allows for the image to be focused on camera. Also, when taking photos depth plays an important role in pictures by making two-dimensional subjects into three- dimensional causing for the photo to be more attractive towards the viewer. Then next in the lesson of depth of field the class was taught that the larger the number (such as f/8) is on the camera to focus it will bring all the foreground and background objects in focus. The Process of Creating My Creative Critical Reflection

 Developing My Critical Reflection So first before doing any rough drafts of the reflection I started with deciding if I would either do a video or a presentation with a voice over. After trial and error of trying to record a video, I realized that making a slideshow and having commentary on it would be much more comfortable with me and the best option. SO, after understanding the format in which I would have my critical reflection I started gathering ideas to form the answers to the four main questions. These questions were provided by Cambridge and would be the main portion of the reflection.
